About the Academy

The academy was started in 2009 and is held each year in July in Ellensburg, Washington. It is a place for carvers to take classes from Master Carvers from all over the United States.

Classes are 5 days of learning, sharing and growing.

Location of The NW Carving Academy - Ellensburg, WA Kittitas County Fairgrounds To find the Academy, drive past the Kittitas Valley Event Center office to the end of the road. Turn right into the fairgrounds parking lot. The Academy is held in the first building on the left.

The Northwest carving academy is a non profit organization run by a group of dedicated volunteers.
